Siobhán Moore is a contemporary painter working across a variety of media including oil, acrylic, ink and encaustic wax.  Experimentation into abstraction has influenced a letting go of traditional form. Living along the Wild Atlantic Way provides her with endless inspiration for the seascapes that permeate her practice. She is drawn to the constancy of the horizon, always there, visible or not. This knowing provides her with solace in a turbulent world and feeds her with an energy which she brings into her work. Her aim is to convey a feeling of time and place, while allowing the viewer to gain a sense of those surroundings.

I work with a variety of media to create paintings that are best described as abstracted land and seascapes.
